The brief: reviving an iconic retro sneaker
The Karhu Legacy 69 is based on the brand’s own archive shoes from the 1990s, and exemplifies Karhu’s rich heritage in sports footwear. Designed as unisex style, the KARHU Legacy 96 stands alongside the Karhu Fusion 2.0 as one of the cornerstones of the Karhu lifestyle line, permanently in the collection and showing up in new refreshing colorways every season. This project stands out in its respect for both the history of the brand and the present–day customer demands. We also really like that the side panel holds a little ghost.
